Topaz is a mineral composed of aluminum silicate and fluorine. It is an allochromatic mineral, meaning it can occur in different colors. Rare and stunning, blue topaz is appreciated for its brilliance and symbolizes joy, friendship, and positivity.
What is white gold?
Gold is a malleable, noble, and shiny yellow metal found in nature. To obtain white gold, an alloy of gold, copper, and palladium is created. Its purity is measured in carats, which indicates the amount of pure gold contained in a piece of jewelry: Comete white gold jewelry is made of 18-carat gold or 750 ‰ and is therefore made up of 750 ‰ pure gold and the remaining 250 ‰ of other metals.
How much does 1 carat measure?
A stone with a carat weight of 1 Carat, which corresponds to 100 Carat Points, measures 6,4 mm using a caliper. 0.25 Carats corresponds to 4mm, 0.50 to 5,2 mm, 0.75 to 5,8 mm, and finally 1.25 Carats is equivalent to 7mm in diameter and so via.
