The topazes used by Comete are natural gemstones, treated to achieve the desired color. Naturally colored stones are very rare and precious, and are not used for mass production. Pink Topaz is a material that is initially pinkish in color thanks to chromium atoms present in the crystal lattice, and the only treatment to even out the color is heating.

Which diamond cut does Comete use?
Comete prefers the brilliant cut for its jewelry, the cut that best enhances the brilliance and shine of all precious stones.
What is Pink Topaz?
Topaz is a mineral composed of aluminum silicate and fluorine. It is an allochromatic mineral, meaning it can occur in various colors. Romantic and warm, pink topaz is appreciated for its brilliance and symbolizes romantic, dreamy love.
Pink Topaz is naturally pinkish in color due to chromium atoms present in the crystal lattice, and the only treatment used to even out the color is heating.
Are Comete diamonds certified?
In collaboration with the IGI, Italian Gemological Institute, we offer our customers a certificate of authenticity and value of the Comete diamond for diamond jewelry from 10 carat points and up.
How much does 1 carat measure?
A stone with a carat weight of 1 Carat, which corresponds to 100 Carat Points, measures 6,4 mm using a caliper. 0.25 Carats corresponds to 4mm, 0.50 to 5,2 mm, 0.75 to 5,8 mm, and finally 1.25 Carats is equivalent to 7mm in diameter and so via.

Is Comete jewelry covered by a warranty?
All products sold on the Site are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code ("Legal Guarantee").
The Legal Guarantee is reserved for consumers and is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase of the jewelry. Muraro Lorenzo S.p.A grants free of charge to the private end customer (B2C, not B2B purchases) an extension of an additional year compared to the duration of the guarantee provided by law. The guarantee protects your jewelry from any defect due to the manufacturing process. Any breakage and/or manufacturing defects which, following a careful check by our technicians, are deemed attributable to the company, will entitle you to free repair or replacement of the product, subject to item availability.
