Which diamond cut does Comete use?
Comete prefers the brilliant cut for its jewelry, the cut that best enhances the brilliance and shine of all precious stones.
What is 316L/Stainless/Stainless Steel?
316L steel, although not a precious metal, is perfectly suited for use in jewelry creation, thanks to its hypoallergenic properties and its shiny color. This alloy, more commonly known as hypoallergenic and medical-grade 316L steel, never discolors and its color remains unchanged over time.
What is PVD treatment
PVD treatment is a technique in which the metal alloy is treated in a vacuum and then a thin coating is deposited onto it. Our jewelry with PVD treatment consists of steel jewelry featuring some parts in pink or black.
What clarity do Comete diamonds have?
Our jewelry mainly uses SI clarity and G color diamonds. Diamonds often have tiny imperfections inside them, called inclusions. The clarity scale ranges from F (Flawless) to I (Included). Therefore, SI clarity for a diamond determines how many tiny imperfections the diamond has, based on the clarity scale. Specifically, SI is the abbreviation for Small Inclusions and applies to diamonds whose inclusions are small, but visible under 10x magnification.

What is a Diamond?
Diamonds originate in the Earth's mantle, where the conditions of extremely high pressure necessary for their formation exist. The crystals are brought to the surface, embedded in a rock containing a lot of olivine called kimberlite, by volcanic conduits through eruption. This gives rise to the diamond pipes of primary deposits. Subsequently, through erosion, the kimberlite can be crumbled, releasing the diamonds into secondary deposits, generally of an alluvial type.
