The jewelry in the collection is named after an incident during a tennis match in 1987 where champion Chris Evert lost her diamond rivière bracelet during a match. The clasp of the jewelry opened, and the tennis player, live on TV, managed to have the match interrupted to find her inseparable piece of jewelry.
