Where do the Comete Pearls come from?
Freshwater pearls are cultivated in rivers and lakes, while saltwater pearls, known as Akoya, are cultivated in the seas of Japan.
How to take care of Comete pearls?
If you wear them often, the pearls should be cleaned regularly and professionally restrung once a year. Between cleanings, gently wipe the pearls with a damp cloth.
How much does 1 Carat measure?
A stone with a weight of 1 Carat, which corresponds to 100 Points Carats, measures 6,4 mm using a caliper. 0.25 Carats corresponds to 4mm, 0.50 to 5,2 mm, 0.75 to 5,8 mm, finally 1.25 Carats equals 7mm in diameter and thus Via.
