What purity do the Diamonds Comete have?

Our jewelry primarily uses diamonds of SI Clarity and G Color. Often, diamonds have some tiny imperfections inside them, called inclusions. The clarity scale ranges from F (Flawless = free of imperfections) to I (Included = inclusions). Therefore, SI Clarity for a diamond establishes how many tiny imperfections the diamond has, based on the clarity scale. In this specific case, SI is the abbreviation for Small Inclusions and applies to diamonds whose inclusions are small but visible with a 10x magnifying glass.

Are the diamonds Comete certified?

In collaboration with the IGI, Italian Gemological Institute, we offer our consumers a certification of authenticity  and value of the Comete diamond for jewelry with diamonds from 10 Points Carats and above.

How much does 1 Carat measure?

A stone with a weight of 1 Carat, which corresponds to 100 Points Carats, measures 6,4 mm using a caliper. 0.25 Carats corresponds to 4mm, 0.50 to 5,2 mm, 0.75 to 5,8 mm, finally 1.25 Carats equals 7mm in diameter and thus Via.

What is the Diamond?

Diamonds originate in the Earth's mantle, where the extremely high pressure conditions necessary for their formation exist. The crystals are brought to the surface, embedded in a rock containing a lot of olivine called kimberlite, by volcanic conduits through eruption. This gives rise to the diamond pipes of primary deposits. Subsequently, through erosion, kimberlite can be broken down, releasing diamonds into secondary deposits, generally of alluvial type.

All products sold on the Site are covered by the legal warranty of conformity provided for by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code ("Legal Warranty").

The Legal Warranty is reserved for consumers and is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase of the jewelry. Muraro Lorenzo S.p.A grants the final private customer (b2c purchases, not b2b) a free extension of an additional year beyond the duration of the warranty provided by law. The warranty protects your jewelry from any defects due to the manufacturing process. Any breakages and/or manufacturing defects that, following careful verification by our technicians, are deemed attributable to the company, will entitle you to free repair or replacement of the product, subject to the availability of the items.
