The re-crystallized colored stones are expertly created in laboratories by melting together parts of Emeralds, Rubies, and natural Sapphires that come from their cutting. A tailored process is created to give them new life in a stone rich in meaning. It differs from the synthetic one as the latter does not come from natural stones.

What is Sapphire?
The sapphire is a variety of corundum, which without other adjectives identifies the blue-blue variety. The blue color indicates loyalty and protection.
What does it mean that a stone is recrystallized?
The re-crystallized stone is a stone that does not naturally occur like this, but to create it, pieces of other natural stones are fused together.
The difference is that in re-crystallized stones, parts of natural stones are put together to create the stone that is then set on the jewelry. It is therefore a stone that does not naturally occur like this, but to create it, pieces of other natural stones are fused together. The synthetic, on the other hand, is created in a laboratory and is in no way a derivative of a natural stone, but is recreated specifically.

What purity do the Diamonds Comete have?
Our jewelry primarily uses diamonds of SI Clarity and G Color. Often, diamonds have some tiny imperfections inside them, called inclusions. The clarity scale ranges from F (Flawless = free of imperfections) to I (Included = inclusions). Therefore, SI Clarity for a diamond establishes how many tiny imperfections the diamond has, based on the clarity scale. In this specific case, SI is the abbreviation for Small Inclusions and applies to diamonds whose inclusions are small but visible with a 10x magnifying glass.
What is White Gold?
Gold is a malleable, noble metal with a shiny yellow color that is found in nature. To obtain white gold, an alloy of gold, copper, and palladium is created. Its purity is measured in carats, which indicates the amount of pure gold contained in a piece of jewelry: Comete white gold jewelry is made of 18-carat gold or 750 ‰ and therefore consists of 750 ‰ pure gold and the remaining 250 ‰ from other metals.
How much does 1 Carat measure?
A stone with a weight of 1 Carat, which corresponds to 100 Points Carats, measures 6,4 mm using a caliper. 0.25 Carats corresponds to 4mm, 0.50 to 5,2 mm, 0.75 to 5,8 mm, finally 1.25 Carats equals 7mm in diameter and thus Via.
Are Comete jewelry pieces covered by warranty?
All products sold on the Site are covered by the legal warranty of conformity provided for by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code ("Legal Warranty").
The Legal Warranty is reserved for consumers and is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase of the jewelry. Muraro Lorenzo S.p.A grants the final private customer (b2c purchases, not b2b) a free extension of an additional year beyond the duration of the warranty provided by law. The warranty protects your jewelry from any defects due to the manufacturing process. Any breakages and/or manufacturing defects that, following careful verification by our technicians, are deemed attributable to the company, will entitle you to free repair or replacement of the product, subject to the availability of the items.
