Recrystallized colored gemstones are expertly created in laboratories by fusing together parts of natural Emeralds, Rubies, and Sapphires derived from their cutting. An ad hoc process is created to give them new life in a gemstone rich in meaning. It differs from synthetic gemstones, as the latter do not derive from natural stones.

What is Sapphire?
Sapphire is a variety of corundum, which, without other adjectives, identifies the blue-azure variety. The color blue indicates fidelity and protection.
What does it mean when a stone is recrystallized?
A recrystallized stone is a stone that does not occur naturally in this form; to create it, pieces of other natural stones are fused together.
The difference is that in recrystallized stones, parts of natural stones are combined to create the stone that is then mounted on the piece of jewelry. It is therefore a stone that does not occur naturally in this form; to create it, pieces of other natural stones are fused together. Synthetic stones, on the other hand, are created in a laboratory and are in no way derived from a natural stone, but are recreated ad hoc.

What clarity do Comete diamonds have?
Our jewelry mainly uses SI clarity and G color diamonds. Diamonds often have tiny imperfections inside them, called inclusions. The clarity scale ranges from F (Flawless) to I (Included). Therefore, SI clarity for a diamond determines how many tiny imperfections the diamond has, based on the clarity scale. Specifically, SI is the abbreviation for Small Inclusions and applies to diamonds whose inclusions are small, but visible under 10x magnification.
What is white gold?
Gold is a malleable, noble, and shiny yellow metal found in nature. To obtain white gold, an alloy of gold, copper, and palladium is created. Its purity is measured in carats, which indicates the amount of pure gold contained in a piece of jewelry: Comete white gold jewelry is made of 18-carat gold or 750 ‰ and is therefore made up of 750 ‰ pure gold and the remaining 250 ‰ of other metals.
How much does 1 carat measure?
A stone with a carat weight of 1 Carat, which corresponds to 100 Carat Points, measures 6,4 mm using a caliper. 0.25 Carats corresponds to 4mm, 0.50 to 5,2 mm, 0.75 to 5,8 mm, and finally 1.25 Carats is equivalent to 7mm in diameter and so via.
Is Comete jewelry covered by a warranty?
All products sold on the Site are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code ("Legal Guarantee").
The Legal Guarantee is reserved for consumers and is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase of the jewelry. Muraro Lorenzo S.p.A grants free of charge to the private end customer (B2C, not B2B purchases) an extension of an additional year compared to the duration of the guarantee provided by law. The guarantee protects your jewelry from any defect due to the manufacturing process. Any breakage and/or manufacturing defects which, following a careful check by our technicians, are deemed attributable to the company, will entitle you to free repair or replacement of the product, subject to item availability.
