The origin of his name
The JEWELLERY in the collection owes its name to an incident during a tennis match in 1987 when champion Chris Evert lost her diamond rivière bracelet in a match. The jewellery clasp opened and the tennis player, on live TV, managed to have the match interrupted to find her inseparable piece of jewellery. The story caused a media sensation and from then on, the endless diamond rivière bracelet became known as the Tennis bracelet.
Attention to Detail
A JEWELLERY but also an uninterrupted row of shining crystals all the way to the finial. Refinement and attention to detail also expressed in the clasp, which is embellished with crystals on the back near the double security eight placed to make it secure and difficult to lose.

Our JEWELLERY uses mainly SI Purity and G Colour diamonds. Diamonds often have some tiny imperfections inside them, called inclusions. The clarity scale ranges from F (Flawless = free of imperfections) to I (Included = inclusions). Therefore, SI Clarity for a diamond determines how many tiny imperfections the diamond has, based on the clarity scale. In this specific case, SI is the abbreviation for Small Inclusions and applies to diamonds whose inclusions are small, but visible with a 10x magnifying glass.
In collaboration with the IGI, Italian Gemmological Institute, we offer our consumer a certification of authenticity and value of the Comete diamond for JEWELLERY with diamonds from 10 Carat Points upwards.
Comete is committed to the ethical and sustainable sourcing of materials. The company has long been socially responsible, as well as committed to the environment, and we believe that sourcing our precious metals responsibly is of the utmost importance. Comete has a zero-tolerance policy towards diamonds from conflict countries and only purchases diamonds from mines located in countries participating in the Kimberley Process.
A stone of 1 Carat carat, which corresponds to 100 Carat Points, measures 6.4 mm using a calibre. 0.25 Carat corresponds to 4 mm, 0.50 to 5.2 mm, 0.75 to 5.8 mm, finally 1.25 Carat is equivalent to 7 mm in diameter and so on.
Diamonds originate in the Earth's mantle, where the very high pressure conditions necessary for their formation exist. The crystals are brought to the surface, encased in a rock containing a lot of olivine called kimberlite, by volcanic conduits through eruption. This gives rise to the diamond chimneys of the primary deposits. Later, through erosion, the kimberlite can be crushed, releasing the diamonds into secondary deposits, usually alluvial.
