What is Yellow Gold?
Gold is a malleable, noble, bright-yellow metal found in nature. To obtain yellow gold, an alloy of gold, silver, copper and zinc is created. The alloy of these different metals fused together gives the yellow colouring typical of yellow gold JEWELLERY. Its purity is measured in carats and this indicates the amount of pure gold contained in a piece of jewellery: Comete Jewellery is made of 18-carat or 750 ‰ gold and therefore consists of 750 ‰ pure gold and the remaining 250 ‰ of other metals.

What is Comete's ethical policy on Diamonds?
Comete is committed to the ethical and sustainable sourcing of materials. The company has long been socially responsible, as well as committed to the environment, and we believe that sourcing our precious metals responsibly is of the utmost importance. Comete has a zero-tolerance policy towards diamonds from conflict countries and only purchases diamonds from mines located in countries participating in the Kimberley Process.
How can I keep my Comete JEWELLERY beautiful and shiny at all times?
Jewellery should be cleaned regularly, recommending that the Jewellery store where it was purchased be professionally cleaned once a year.
Jewellery should also be removed before going to bed, before practising any sport, when washing hands or using corrosive products. Avoid contact with perfumes, alcohol, cosmetics, ammonia and chlorine. Do not expose Jewellery to heat sources.
To avoid losing or damaging Jewellery, store it carefully in its original packaging or pouch after use, avoiding contact with other Jewellery to prevent scratches.
Is Comete Jewellery covered by Warranty?
All products sold on the Site are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code ("Legal Guarantee").
The Legal Warranty is reserved for consumers and is valid for 24 months from the day the Jewellery is purchased. MURARO LORENZO S.p.A grants free of charge to the private final customer (b2c not b2b purchases) an extension of an additional year over the duration of the warranty provided for by law. The guarantee protects your Jewellery against any defect due to the manufacturing process. Any breakage and/or manufacturing defect which, following a careful inspection by our technicians, is deemed to be attributable to the company will entitle you to free repair or replacement of the product subject to availability of the articles.
