What is an Emerald?
The emerald is a variety of beryl, characterized by an intense green color. It is the most precious stone, the color of luck and hope.
What clarity do Comete diamonds have?
Our jewelry mainly uses SI clarity and G color diamonds. Diamonds often have tiny imperfections inside them, called inclusions. The clarity scale ranges from F (Flawless) to I (Included). Therefore, SI clarity for a diamond determines how many tiny imperfections the diamond has, based on the clarity scale. Specifically, SI is the abbreviation for Small Inclusions and applies to diamonds whose inclusions are small, but visible under 10x magnification.
Are Comete diamonds certified?
In collaboration with the IGI, Italian Gemological Institute, we offer our customers a certificate of authenticity and value of the Comete diamond for diamond jewelry from 10 carat points and up.
How do you obtain the certificate of authenticity for Comete Diamonds?

What is Comete's ethical policy on diamonds?
Comete is committed to sourcing materials in an ethical and sustainable manner. The company has long been socially responsible, as well as committed to respecting the environment, and we believe that sourcing our precious metals responsibly is of the utmost importance. Comete has a zero-tolerance policy towards conflict diamonds and only purchases diamonds from mines located in countries participating in the Kimberley Process.
How much does 1 carat measure?
A stone with a carat weight of 1 Carat, which corresponds to 100 Carat Points, measures 6,4 mm using a caliper. 0.25 Carats corresponds to 4mm, 0.50 to 5,2 mm, 0.75 to 5,8 mm, and finally 1.25 Carats is equivalent to 7mm in diameter and so via.

Muraro Lorenzo S.p.A grants free of charge to the private end customer (B2C, not B2B purchases) an extension of an additional year compared to the duration of the guarantee provided by law. The guarantee protects your jewelry from any defect due to the manufacturing process. Any breakage and/or manufacturing defects which, following a careful check by our technicians, are deemed attributable to the company, will entitle you to free repair or replacement of the product, subject to item availability.
