What is Aquamarine
Aquamarine, a precious mineral formed from volcanic rocks, consists of copper, silica, aluminum, iron, and beryllium, and therefore belongs to the beryl family. In Comete jewelry, two qualities are distinguished: one used in the Fantasia di Acquamarina Collection and the Prestige quality in the Azzurra Collection. This precious gemstone is gifted as a symbol of courage, balance, and serenity.
What clarity do Comete diamonds have?
Our jewelry mainly uses SI clarity and G color diamonds. Diamonds often have tiny imperfections inside them, called inclusions. The clarity scale ranges from F (Flawless) to I (Included). Therefore, SI clarity for a diamond determines how many tiny imperfections the diamond has, based on the clarity scale. Specifically, SI is the abbreviation for Small Inclusions and applies to diamonds whose inclusions are small, but visible under 10x magnification.
What is white gold?
Gold is a malleable, noble, and shiny yellow metal found in nature. To obtain white gold, an alloy of gold, copper, and palladium is created. Its purity is measured in carats, which indicates the amount of pure gold contained in a piece of jewelry: Comete white gold jewelry is made of 18-carat gold or 750 ‰ and is therefore made up of 750 ‰ pure gold and the remaining 250 ‰ of other metals.
How to keep my Comete jewelry always beautiful and shiny?
Jewelry should be cleaned regularly; we recommend taking it to the jewelry store where it was purchased for a professional cleaning once a year.
We also recommend removing your jewelry before going to sleep, before engaging in any sports activities, when washing your hands, or when using corrosive products. Avoid contact with perfumes, alcohol, cosmetics, ammonia, and chlorine. Do not expose jewelry to heat sources.
To avoid losing or damaging your jewelry, store it carefully in its original packaging or pouch after use, avoiding contact with other jewelry to prevent scratches.
