What is yellow gold?
Gold is a malleable, noble, and bright yellow metal found in nature. To obtain yellow gold, an alloy of gold, silver, copper, and zinc is created. The alloy of these different metals melted together gives the typical yellow color of yellow gold jewelry. Its purity is measured in karats, which indicates the amount of pure gold contained in a piece of jewelry: Comete jewelry is made of 18-karat gold or 750 ‰ and is therefore composed of 750 ‰ pure gold and the remaining 250 ‰ of other metals.

How is Comete jewelry made?
Every Comete Made in Italy jewelry piece is crafted entirely in Italy, at our headquarters in Vicenza. All designs are conceived in-house by our designers and produced in our goldsmith workshop by highly skilled artisans to create only quality jewelry.
How to keep my Comete jewelry always beautiful and shiny?
Jewelry should be cleaned regularly; we recommend taking it to the jewelry store where it was purchased for a professional cleaning once a year.
We also recommend removing your jewelry before going to sleep, before engaging in any sports activities, when washing your hands, or when using corrosive products. Avoid contact with perfumes, alcohol, cosmetics, ammonia, and chlorine. Do not expose jewelry to heat sources.
To avoid losing or damaging your jewelry, store it carefully in its original packaging or pouch after use, avoiding contact with other jewelry to prevent scratches.
Is Comete jewelry covered by a warranty?
All products sold on the Site are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code ("Legal Guarantee").
The Legal Guarantee is reserved for consumers and is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase of the jewelry. Muraro Lorenzo S.p.A grants free of charge to the private end customer (B2C, not B2B purchases) an extension of an additional year compared to the duration of the guarantee provided by law. The guarantee protects your jewelry from any defect due to the manufacturing process. Any breakage and/or manufacturing defects which, following a careful check by our technicians, are deemed attributable to the company, will entitle you to free repair or replacement of the product, subject to item availability.
